Review for brand new Swagat restaurant to the right of the Swan pub - amazing Indian food at really, really good prices. Lots of meat and vegetarian options. The service was impeccable and the chef came out afterwards to ask what our thoughts were and if there was anything he could improve on (there wasn’t) - showing that he genuinely cares about the food he’s putting out. The ambience and decor is lovely - feels completely separate from the pub next door. Will definitely be returning They are brand new so a website is coming up soon, the menu is on the outside of the building - the photo I’ve added isn’t very clear
We stayed in the Hythe room on the front of the hotel. It was a great size and spotlessly clean. Parking was included. The staff were excellent, professional and friendly.
Nice room, Clean Room, Comfortable Bed, friendly staff, Great Breakfast. Very good value for the £80 I paid. A bit of noise from the pub below, but lovely and quiet from closing time. Small car park at rear for guests.
Booked 3 rooms for Sat night due for overnight as attending a wedding in Hythe. Reception was friendly and quick given codes for rooms instead of keys which worked well. All the rooms were newly painted. light and airy. Beds were comfy room was clean with lge TV fan and heater if required. Tea coffee making facilities. Bathroom fresh and clean nice shower. Breakfast was good full English with juice plus tea or coffee. All the staff in the hotel were friendly. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before going out sat lovely bar area friendly bar staff and good choice of drinks would def recommend
Had food and cocktails in the bar today. The new owner was very accommodating and kind. We were a large group and were probably a pain. We had many orders, some of which were not on the menu. However nothing was too much trouble. Fast service, amazing cocktails and wonderful table service.. what more could we want? 5 Stars
Very clean, staff friendly, their food menu which is Nepalese food looked amazing and very reasonably priced but unfortunately we weren't there to eat that day just to have a couple of drinks with friends who were visiting from Wales. It's easily accessible on Hythe high street, paid parking nearby at the old aldi site, will definitely go back again.
The rooms at Swan hotel were very spacious and tidy. We booked in the family room which had 3 beds. Edward the host was also very good, he gave us all the instructions to check in etc. It also has a pub and restaurant (named swagat) downstairs and situated on high street with all access to shops etc. Hythe beach is 15 mins walking distance from the hotel.
Facilities are a bit old, but that is also reflective on the building as a whole. The guys at the reception were welcoming and quite helpful, especially with the hot water situation (read from a a few reviewers that they didn’t get hot water). A good place to lay your head for a day or two. Wouldn’t mind staying here again (short stay) as long as it is within good distance to my other destinations.
Went here for a curry. Food was amazing and staff were really friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble.
Great place! We arrived just in time to get some food which was incredible and amazing friendly service. Rooms were comfy with tea/coffee, TV, wifi, and shower bits. I would definitely recommend and stay again
